This sideboard was designed and built as a commissioned project for a client in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She wished to have a sideboard for the living room, with enough space to keep her turntable on top. Mid-century modern design inspired the sleek design and high legs. The cabinet has sliding doors with sleek wooden handles. The beautiful Ashwood veneer was stained a warm brown to match an existing bookshelf.

The cabinet features clean details like mitred corners, solidwood edge-banding and inset door handles. The eye-catching doors feature a continuous bookmatched cathedral grain that flow harmoniously from left to right.

The sideboard has three sections with adjustable shelves that allows for enough storage space for audio equipment like amplifiers, etc. Sliding doors provide the option of leaving one of the sections open while using the equipment. The height of the cabinet is in harmony with the existing painting, so that objects that are kept on top do not interfere with the serene nature of the art piece.
